Hello! My name is Daniela but you can also call me "Coco", yes, I know, it is kind of wierd but also it's funny :) I'm from a little town in the north coast of Colombia called Santa Marta, this place is very nice. I've spend almost all my life there, until one day, when I finished the school and came to live in Barranquilla. Then I started to study Graphic Design at Uninorte. At the begining was very hard for me to move on to another city, but it was what I really wanted. A lot of people prefer to stay in their homes and be comfortable, but in reallity, it is more exciting live alone and make some mistakes. I've always dreamed with travel around the world and learn about many cultures, because I find it very interesting. Also I like cooking, but here between us, I dont know many recepies... my goal is to learn about food while I'm traveling, for now im only know how to cook pancakes.. I'm such an expert ;) Mmmm another thing you should know about me is that I love the music a lot! in my free time I sign alone, and search for new songs to listen. By listen to music, I have learn some of my english, it is a cool way to learn. And finally I would like to admit that I'm a movie lover! When I have the chance, I go to the cinema with friends and family, I really enjoy the movies. The genres I like the most are romantic comedy, drama and sci-fi. If you asked me for a recomendation, I recomend to you Perfect Sense, maybe next time I will tell you another one!
Hi Daniela. I think you are right that when we go off on our own, it is a time to grow, make mistakes, and develop as people. What are some things that you feel like you have learned about life since you moved away from your family?
ResponderEliminarHi Emilia! The most important thing that i've learned is that life is about taking risks, I mean, when you are alone you must be brave and make decisions that could affect you in many ways. For example, talk with new strangers, go to some places alone and take care of yourself when getting sick.
EliminarHi Daniela! My favourite movies are romantic comedies too. What is your favourite one?
ResponderEliminarMichelina that is not fair, there are a lots of lovely movies :) but i have to say that one of my favorites is One Day!
EliminarCoquiittooo that's not true... You can cook more than just pancakes. Besides I've tasted what you've cooked and it's reaaaallyy ggoodd.... Well, maybe it ain't that good, but at least you cook more than I do! hahaha
ResponderEliminarMaybe we should learn some recipes Chells! and program a Halloween Get Together! what do you think?
Eliminarhii daniela.. I'm agree with you is exciting live alone but sometime is tedious because you have the responsibility of everything
ResponderEliminarYes Dani, agree with you! And also I think that it get harder with the passing of time. The more we grow up, more responsibilities we get. :/
EliminarCocooo, I agree with you in: " it is more exciting live alone and make some mistakes" jaja, i'm from Riohacha and I've been living here for 3 years only with a cousin, and at the begenning is really hard to learn to life without parents, but at the end is to much what you learn.
ResponderEliminarI would have never imagine that you were from Riohacha! It is very nice to know that you have been in the same situation! The good thing is that we always can go to our homes again :) they are very close!
